Homework with a smile

I can't tell you how happy this makes me:

 

Logan, happily doing his homework, excited to write down as many words as he could think of that rhyme with bat. And he even picked out a book to read to me before bedtime, not homework-related at all!

He not only happily did his homework for tonight, but for the past two nights, he's done extra homework to get ahead for the week. Technically, his teacher doesn't want them to do all of their homework in one or two nights, but I just couldn't put a damper on his enthusiasm. We'll work on pacing later. :)

For the kid who flipped his $&!+ over a backwards 3 a few month ago, this is definitely reason to smile.
